Applied 5987 - Balance
Balance is a concentrated alkaline pH builder. Dosed automatically into the collection tanks, Balance will increase the pH of the grey water to a point, which conditions the effluent and allows for rapid and efficient secondary treatment.
Applied 2366 - Polyfloc
APPLIED 2366 is a complex blend of cationic floccing agent, which neutralises the surface charge on the suspended soils, allowing them to aggregate and form solids that can be separated from the water by sedimentation, cyclone or filtration. Polyfloc is a broad-spectrum floc that will capture and precipitate a vast range of suspended and dissolved materials.
Applied 4971A - Aquachlor
The final treatment for reclaimed water is to ensure that the water is fit and safe to use. As the name suggests Aquachlor is an aqueous stabilised chlorine solution with 12.5% available chlorine. When added as a final reclaim process the available chlorine molecules attach themselves to bacteria and other pathogenic material to destroy them. The destruction of bacteria and preservation against re-growth prevents the formation of odours in the treated water, keeping it clean, safe and ready for re-use.
